Porsche has just presented the next generation Cayenne and for the first time there will be a fully electric version. The new SUV will be launched in 2026 and comes in two variants: Cayenne Electric and Cayenne Turbo Electric. The Turbo version in particular is attracting attention with an output of up to 1,156 horsepower and 1,500 Newton meters of torque. This makes it the most powerful Porsche to date. The trip from 0 to 60 mp/h is just 2.5 seconds, and 0 to 120 mp/h. is achieved in 7.4 seconds. Top speed is electronically limited to 260 km/h. Both models are equipped with all-wheel drive and are based on 800-volt architecture with a net battery capacity of 108 kWh. Porsche The battery is built directly into the floor of the car, resulting in a lower center of gravity and better handling. The special design also allows the battery to be serviced in modules without having to remove the entire pack. The Cayenne Electric can be charged with up to 400 kW, making it possible to go from 10 to 80 percent battery level in under 16 minutes. The exterior design is an evolution of the classic Cayenne, but with a lower roof height and longer wheelbase. The front air intakes are active and automatically adjust to optimize aerodynamics and cooling. The Turbo model also features aerodynamic blades that activate at speeds above 64 km/h. and reduce air resistance. Interior with a focus on usability The cabin is equipped with a 12.25-inch centered screen, the lower part of which curves towards the driver and leads to an armrest with physical buttons. In addition, a 14.9-inch passenger screen is available as an option. The dashboard in front of the driver is displayed on a curved 14.25-inch screen. The new Cayenne Electric will have its premiere in the spring of 2026. The base model will have a starting price of just over $111,000 in the US and €101,500 in Germany, while the Turbo version starts at around $165,000 in the US and €165,000 in Germany.
